Job description

The Food and Beverage Services Manager at Sofitel Brisbane Central reports to the Director of Operations and oversees outlet managers and supervisors to ensure the seamless execution of service in a multitude of F&B outlets.

This role is very hands on and you will lead through action. It’s perfect for the person who is passionate about developing others and seeing them succeed. Being a leader in guest service will come naturally to you, from your passion for guest and team satisfaction and engagement. Driving innovation and efficiencies from ideas to successful implementation in the outlets will lead you to deliver products and experiences that are second to none.

Success in this role is the ability to lead from the front, develop your people, and provide amazing experiences, all with a flair of Frenchness that is part of the Sofitel brand DNA.

What you will be doing:
Overseeing multiple outlets and assisting the relevant managers to ensure profitable and engaging departments
Live and breathe the Sofitel values and ensure that these are evident in all dealings of every outlet
Being a leader for sustainability and social responsibility
Drive innovation within the F&B team
Collaborate with other hotel departments to strategise on new product and service offerings
Promote a strong Heartist culture and a team focused on creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Your experience and skills include:
A luxury service focus and desire to grow your career with Sofitel
Previous F&B manager experience of a large operational team with multiple outlets
Strong networking skills with proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
Ability to communicate clearly
IT savvy with strong computer skills and a systems expert
Experience in building a strong team culture
A record of high performance and achievement.
