- Flexible Hours across a 7-day rotating roster
- Evening and weekend shifts required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Live, breathe and deliver our company values out to your team members
- Serve our valued customers with enthusiasm
- React to service barriers to ensure smooth & efficient service
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, including inventory management, scheduling, and ensuring a high level of customer service
- Ensure that our beverage program meets the needs of our guests while also keeping up with current trends
- Train and mentor baristas and bartenders to ensure they meet the highest standards of service and drink preparation
- Foster a positive and productive work environment by communicating effectively with staff and management
- Ensures all tools and procedures are used/followed at all times to ensure consistent quality, and that team members are aware of these processes and trained accordingly
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement systems and processes
- Maintains store cleanliness standards including completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists
- Manages roster and absenteeism when manager is not on shift
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the bar or restaurant industry
- Strong barista, craft beer, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of bar and restaurant operations, beverage preparation, and inventory management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to continuously improve the guest experience
- Completes all on-line training and reads all notices published on Deputy & Employment Hero
- Understand and practice Food Safety at all times, as defined by the Company Food Control policy
- Understand the maintenance of equipment, accurate recordkeeping and stock labelling, stock rotation, and safe storage
- Able to train and supervise FOH Team members
