Food & Beverage Supervisor

An experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor needed to support a world-class team on a permanent basis!

A worldwide purpose-built venue located in the heart of the world’s oldest rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage supervisor to add to the exceptional team on a permanent basis. 

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. With spectacular facilities, your new company has an importance on service, safety, and collaboration whilst you create memorable experiences for all during the upcoming season.  

Your new role 

Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service. Working together with two other supervisors and a small permanent team, your ability to effectively lead and manage temporary workers across the different events is crucial. You will be an enthusiastic individual, who has a personable leadership approach, forthright communication and is passionate about people.

The management team will work and communicate efficiently across all departments to ensure a professional, friendly, and hands-on management style is provided. This exciting opportunity is looking for the right individual to enhance, develop and create spectacular experiences for the guests and your team. 

What you'll need to succeed 

To be successful in this position, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar, fast-paced role. To maintain and enhance customer satisfaction within the organisation, your passion for people will play a critical role and you will have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Previous experience with POS systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• To successfully train, guide and mentor the team, a hands-on approach to your leadership style is a must-have.
