Additional Information:

• These roles are Permanent Part-time, 50 or 60hrs/fortnight.
• The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker.
• As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts ranging from 9am to 9:30pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

• If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video interview as part of the recruitment process.
• If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person interview with the hiring manager.
• If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April 9am-5pm.
• If you are successful, your shifts will commence from Monday 29 April 2024.

• Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
• Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
• Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
• Active selling, cash handling and customer service.

Operations:

• Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
• Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
• Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
• You must be comfortable standing and working at the sink, as this is where your main duties will preside.
• Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
