- These roles are Permanent Part-time, 50 or 60hrs/fortnight.
- The internal job title for this role is IKEA Food Co-worker.
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts ranging from 9am to 9:30pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-day Welcome induction Monday 29 April and Tuesday 30 April 9am-5pm.

- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
- Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
- Active selling, cash handling and customer service.
- Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
- Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
- You must be comfortable standing and working at the sink, as this is where your main duties will preside.
- Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
- Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
- Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
