An excellent opportunity has arisen in our growing NSW-based Food Equipment company for a Service Technician, including assisting with shop-fitting duties.
The role will require a combination of preventative maintenance and breakdown work on a wide variety of commercial Food Equipment and security entrance systems. Time will be split between our workshop in Seven Hills, and out on the road seeing customers on site.
Tasks include:
- Complete service calls as arranged by Head Office
- Identify spare parts, including correct part numbers, from parts breakdowns as required
- Aid in installation of security entrance gates as needed
- Assist with product training for customers as required
- Adhere closely to any OH&S requirements by customers, including inductions
- Maintain good levels of presentation, both personal and company vehicle
The successful candidate will posses strong fault finding and diagnostic ability, have proven ability to provide support for mechanical and electrical products, basic computer and phone literacy, high level of English language skills (both written and spoken) and proven ability to work diligently without supervision.
Valid NSW Driver's licence is essential, as is right to work in Australia. Forklift license is preferred but not required.
