Kirkbrae Presbyterian Homes is a small sized aged care facility based in Kilsyth which has a family like environment and respects all residents and staff.
We are seeking Food Service Assistants to join our team and play an important part in our Catering Department. We ensure our staff are provided with the opportunity to complete all mandatory training and we will guide and support you when needed.
Providing meal services to approximately 70 residents your duties will include kitchen assistance and meal delivery, tray set and service, clean up and dish washing.
You must be able to work the following roster:
Week 1
- Thursday 6.30 - 14.00
- Friday 6.30 -14.00
- Saturday 14.00 - 19.00
- Sunday 14.00 - 19.00
Week 2
- Thursday 6.30 - 14.00
- Friday 6.30 - 14.00
To be successful you must have the following:
- Current Food Handling Certificate
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Strong communication skills & ability to work in a team
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Be available to work morning and afternoons
- Must have current NDIS check or willingness to get one
- Must have received all 3 COVID vaccinations.
Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within an Aged Care facility would be desirable.
