About the Role:
Looking for an exciting part-time opportunity within a dynamic college environment? We're currently on the lookout for a skilled Food Services Assistant to join our team on a term-time contract from April to December 2024.
As a Food Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our college's food service department. Your responsibilities will involve assisting with various tasks across our multiple food outlets, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
What we're looking for:
- Proven team player with a professional, courteous demeanour
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with both adults and students
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining hygiene standards, especially in food preparation
- Basic culinary skills and proficiency in stock control and rotation
- Barista qualifications are a must!
- Food handling certificate is required
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Current CPR certificate
- Possession of a valid Blue Card as per the Working with Children Act 2000
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings
- Alignment with the college's philosophy, policies, and Anglican ethos
In addition, you'll need to:
- Maintain flexibility in working hours to meet operational needs
- Be open to modifications in the role as per the college's requirements

- Undergo a check against the Anglican Church National Professional Standards Register (applicable to candidates over 18)
