About the Role
We are currently seeking a full time Food Technologist to join our R&D team onsite at our production site in regional Victoria. You will be responsible for the implementation of product development plans executing multiple product innovation and renovation projects from concept and recipe development to trial and factory validation and commercial production. You will also play a key role in the development of new packaging solutions and ongoing packaging projects.
- Lead product development activities to deliver projects
- Distil consumer trends and research insights into key product attributes
- Keep abreast of business priorities, issues, and those of the food industry
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Build key internal R&D relationships to enable the sharing of ideas, pipelines, troubleshooting and best practices
- Establish strong partnerships and clear communication with peers cross functionally
- Build strong relationships and communication with key supply partners
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor level qualification or higher
- Minimum 5 years of technical and professional research & development experience in food
- Experience working in a fast-paced, commercially-driven food company
- Proven experience in packaging development will be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and confidence in presenting ideas to internal and external stakeholders.

Salary on offer is between $120,000 - $150,000 + super dependent on the successful candidates experience. Please consult our P&C team for further information on this.
