We have an exciting opportunity for a Food technologist to join a reputable leading food production company on the Sunshine Coast for a passionate Food Technologist who has a knack for quality control, innovation and ensuring that delicious products reach consumers.
Your new role
As a Food Technologist, you'll play a crucial role in the development, improvement, and quality assurance of food products. Responsibilities will include;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to creat new food products or enhance existing ones. From taste testing to nutritional analysis, you'll be at the forefront of innovation.
- Monitor production processes, conduct sensory evaluations, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Your attention to detail will be key to maintaining consistent quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ingredient innovations, and consumer preferences. Use this knowledge to drive product improvements.
- Work closely with production manager, and suppliers to optimise recipes, troubleshoot issues and streamline processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Food Science or Food Technology
- Experience in a similar role within the food industry; experience with artifical flavours and colourings is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving
- Knowledge of food regulations and safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
