About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Business Manager, you will operate within a defined Melbourne bayside and inner-city territory, with full accountability for net sales and debtors. While the territory has an established customer base, our client is seeking someone with a hunger to source new business and build relationships. This role is based in Campbellfield and may require regional overnight trips.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine passion for customer service and business development
- Eagerness to work as part of a team to achieve individual and team goals
- Food experience highly advantageous (e.g., smallgoods, cheese, grocery)
- Retail or customer service experience advantageous
- Experience working towards targets and KPIs
About You: You will have at least 3 years of experience selling into Independent Retail Supermarkets and the HORECA segment, with a strong network of contacts. Highly organized with excellent time management skills, you communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships. You excel in problem-solving, resolving customer issues promptly. You can work well in a team or independently, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are results-oriented, hungry for success, and understand the importance of delivering quality customer service.
