Footprint Placements is a specialist initiative recruiting and supporting the placement of educational professionals in remote and unique areas. We enable amazing opportunities for living and teaching in remote areas, whilst being provided with support and guidance from us. We understand remote life as we have lived remote ourselves! Our pool is currently open to long and short-term positions across areas of Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland, in small remote communities to larger coastal towns.
You will join our successfully placed educators across areas including the Pilbara, the Kimberley, the Coral Coast, Central Australia, Arnhem Land and Far North QLD in independent, Catholic and government schools. We have experience placing a range of educators including early childhood, primary and secondary teachers, coordinators and principals. There may be opportunities for teaching couples and teachers with non-teaching partners looking for employment. Placements can range from 4 weeks to ongoing.
You will have the opportunity to teach, explore and learn whilst strengthening relationships with your students, school and community. We are searching for teachers who have the capability to use their strong curriculum knowledge to adapt programs through inquiry, two-way learning, On-Country, experiential and ‘hands-on’ approaches, allowing student to reach their full potential.

What You Need to Succeed!
To be considered for this amazing opportunity, you will need to possess and/or demonstrate,
- Relevant teaching registration/s and Working With Children clearance check/s (or ability to obtain one)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum
- A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
- Proven ability differentiating and catering for different learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative skills
- Motivation to build genuine relationships and listen to the needs of the students, school and community
