Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Leading Hand - Recycling Operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating activities within our concrete crushing and recycling yard.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams of personnel, including plant operators, loaders, and other staff.
- Operate excavators and front-end loaders proficiently and safely.
- Oversee and coordinate plant operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Fill in for various roles within the team as required.
- Utilize basic tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and perform basic welding tasks when necessary.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management to optimize operations and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operating excavators and front-end loaders.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate teams.
- Experience working in a concrete crushing/recycling environment.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment, including angle grinders.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic welding skills are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
