SalaryCenturion Transport in Perth is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our operations departments full-time as a Freight Officer. You will be responsible for loading, unloading and restraining freight in the Depot.

- Operating a forklift to load and unload freight in a safe and timely manner
- Processing various types of freight from beginning to end
- Secure and restrain all loads in a safe manner as per the load restraint guide
- Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
- Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
- Guaranteeing freight is loaded in time to meet scheduled vehicle departure times
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Preferred experience with general freight or warehousing
- Ability to take direction from management and supervisors
- Preferred scanning or computer data entry experience
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and RIPPA values
