About the service:
- An exciting opportunity has come up to join Nexus as the Temporary Clinical Support Officer.
- Nexus is a 12-bed acute child and adolescent mental health inpatient unit located at the John Hunter Hospital.
- The role is well supported by the CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service) Administration Manager and the Nexus Nurse Manager as well as the greater Administration Team.
- We are committed to supporting our staff in further developing their skillset with the opportunity to complete further training and education relevant to the role.
- Provide timely and accurate administration transactional services to support the provision of clinical services across the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Inpatient unit (NEXUS) under the direction of the CAMHS Administration Manager and the Nexus Nurse Manager.
- Our successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic and innovative team and support them to provide excellent care to our young people.
- This role will see our successful candidate work under broad supervision but will be required to take some independent action.
- An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
- Four weeks annual leave (pro-rata for part-time employees)
