Our clients are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators available for an immediate start working across a range of sites throughout Perth. Day, afternoon & night shifts available working with market leaders.
- Multiple Locations – Hazlemere, High Wycombe, Kewdale, Welshpool, Forrestfield, Maddington, Canning Vale & Spearwood locations
- Day Shift, Afternoon Shift & Night Shift Roles Available
- Fulltime hours available
- $30 to $45 per hour plus penalty rates & superannuation
- Ongoing positions with market leaders
- MUST be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- MUST be able to obtain a National Police Clearance
- MUST have own reliable car and valid Driver’s Licence
- MUST have Forklift (LF) licence
- MUST have a functional smart phone for apps / rostering communications.
- MUST be physically fit and reliable
To be successful in this opportunity:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Minimum 2 years counter-balance forklift experience loading and unloading
- High reach forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment highly desirable
- Willing and able to work in a cold storage environment (minus 1 degrees or 23 degrees)
- 16ton and 32ton forklift experience highly desirable
- Ugly freight / Out of Gauge freight experience highly desirable
- Load restraint, including straps/ratchets & chains/binders to palletised and ugly freight experience highly desirable
- Willing and able to undertake manual handling tasks
- Ability to undertake fast paced, repetitive heavy lifting e.g 15kg to 20kg
- Ability to stack, wrap, label and stage pallets efficiently
- Experience using RF scanners highly desirable
- Experience in Voice Picking highly desirable
- Experience using pick buggies highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate consistent high level safety awareness and manual handling techniques
- High level attention to detail
- Computer-literate and tech-savvy working with new systems / apps
- Experience using SAP / WMS & Microsoft Suite highly desirable
- Accurate data entry into a variety of systems, paperwork and record keeping
- Good team player and ability to work well with others
- Be well presented with strong communication skills
- Have two contactable references
- Own car and Drivers Licence
- Be responsible, reliable, punctual, hardworking & self-motivated!
