Formwork Carpenter

ADN Earthworks is seeking Carpenters with experience in Civil Formwork:

Minimum Requirements relevant to the position you are applying for:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Formwork Carpentry.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Be able to construct, install and repair wood, plywood, wallboard and other related materials.
• Physically fit for the demands of the role, and strong commitment to ensure safety, works well with others and a great team player.
• Proven ability to work in a safe and efficient manner in a team environment.
• Skilled in tools and battery handling .
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's License with reliable transport.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including lab tested Drug & Alcohol screen and ongoing random site testing.
• Willing to work locally and away.

Tasks and Duties

· Install prefabricated formwork units for large civil concrete construction projects.

• Erect and dismantle formwork to suspended slabs, columns, beams and walls if required
• Predetermine and oversee the efficient use of time, manpower, tolls, equipment, and order material to prepare layouts.
• Coordinate with crew members and ensure compliance to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Receive instructions from site supervisor as required and maintain neat and clean & safe work area at all times.
• Take control and accountability for delivering projects requirements and results.
• Fill out & maintain all WHS documentation.
• Review plans & documentation.
• Review and order required materials and formwork equipment.
• Train and manage personnel and able to work effectively with limited supervision.
