The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for developing, creating and generating financial reporting, budgets, forecasts to provide insights to drive and influence decision making to support the Inghams group. The role will also play a critical role in the long-term strategic planning, corporate modelling and ongoing management, and improvement of, finance reporting tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecast & 5 Year Plan including:
- Lead the budget and quarterly forecasting processes and cycles for the group, co-ordinating inputs and managing stakeholder involvement
- Coordinate and maintain the register of financial forecast Risks and Opportunities for inclusion in the board reporting, to effectively support the management of risks and opportunities
- Preparation of corporate budget and quarterly forecast presentation for the CFO, CEO and Board
- Development and ownership of the corporate model to support the 5 Year Plan (model owner)
- Integration of IBP inputs to the corporate model
- Preparation of corporate budget and quarterly forecast and actuals analysis
- Business partnering with corporate leaders on corporate costs
- Reporting, Modelling, Analysis & Insight including:
- Lead the preparation of the monthly board reporting pack consolidated income statements, financial positions and cash flow statements within monthly reporting timetable.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of the weekly reporting to the executive.
- Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data and provide insights to the business incl. providing input to presentations and Board Papers for Exec, Board and Shareholders
- Build and maintain TM1 based reports, including a suite of standard business reports and business KPI's to maintain consistency of reporting across the group
- Develop insights around historical performance, forecasts and budgeting to effectively support the management of risks and opportunities
- Support financial modelling for capital investment projects, provide commercial input to investment recommendations or post investment reviews and modelling impact of new accounting standards
- Assist with the preparation of the investor relation pack for the ASX / market release
- Perform ad hoc analysis and modelling for executives (CEO/CFO) as required
- Database admin support & development including:
- Scope, develop, build and maintain the budget and forecasting TM1 cube, including rules and scenarios to further analyse data on forecasted and expected scenarios
- Manage financial TM1 cube databases by organizing and analysing a wide range of data sources including sub-system reconciliations and interfaces
- Business partner with the broader finance function on development of new TM1 cubes & reporting to provide information to improve.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Information Systems
- CPA/ CA (or studying towards)
- Proficient in TM1, turbo integrator and rules highly desirable
- Experience in using systems for data analytics and or reporting
- Ability to analyse data and information and translate it into business insights
- Proficient in using and learning multiple management information systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to be able to frame a problem and influence an outcome
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling) and polished PowerPoint presentations
- Needs to be a self-starter and comfortable following others up for information
- High learning agility, self-learner, with an ability to work in ambiguous environments
- Analytical thinker with strong problem solving
- Solid attention to detail with strong numeracy skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
