Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a FP&A professional to join a leading multinational pharmaceutical business based in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The successful candidate will play a critical role in partnering with senior leaders across the business to support strategic decision making at both a global and regional level.

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited too:

  • Lead and partner with business leaders to deliver timely, accurate and consistent financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for the relevant functions to help enhance strategic decision making
  • Lead the development and implementation of automated reporting tools to deliver insights and be responsible for reporting revenue, including reconciliation of complex government rebate models
  • Seek out opportunities to drive OPEX synergies and drive high performance
  • Execute all monthly management reporting
  • Lead on all financial forecasting processes
  • Develop and manage the annual Budgeting process
  • And much more….

About You

The successful FP&A Manager should have the following experience and skills:

  • Relevant professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, etc.)
  • Must have at least 5 years experience within FP&A, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting ideally within a pharmaceutical business.
  • Experience with rebates and knowledge of accruals systems
  • Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills and experience
  • An advanced understanding of applicable Australian and International Accounting Standards
  • Detailed understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Office programs (particularly Excel)
