We are currently seeking applications for a Production ManagerDiving Systems that will lead a team of diving, hyperbaric and production professionals delivering state-of-the-art diving and hyperbaric systems for the Royal Australian Navy.
Applicants with a background in Diving Systems either within a commercial or defence environment are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of production, hyperbaric and diving technicians
- Maintain key relationships with stakeholder both internally and externally
- Promote and lead a strong safety culture
- Continuously review and enhance service delivery processes
- Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them
- Oversee maintenance and production of Diving Systems
- Manage the maintenance and repair of Diving Systems
Skills required
- Demonstrated experience in production management
- Proven experience with the maintenance of Diving Systems
- Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills
- Ability to coach and mentor
- Experience with Defence contracts is highly desirable
- Experience in diving (Defence, Recreational or Commercially) highly advantageous
Due to the nature of this role candidates will require to hold Australian citizenship and be eligible for an AGSVA clearance.
