We’re looking for strategically-minded digital Media Campaign Coordinators who are detail-oriented and want the flexibility, autonomy and opportunity to further develop skills across multiple client accounts in both B2B and B2C.

Even through COVID, we grew, with an increasingly global clientele. We’re looking for driven, entrepreneurial and results-focused project managers/coordinators to add to our team. You need to be detail-oriented, master media metrics, and be focused on client ROI.

This role is a part-time freelancer role that can provide you with consistent work, based on your availability. We encourage overseas and nomad (people who like to travel while working) candidates to apply since we have people who work around the clock with a follow-the-sun model. We can accommodate as few as 10 hours per week to as many as 30 hours per week, consistently.

The list below is what we're ideally looking for in the perfect candidate. Please don't worry if you don't have all these skills, the more you have, the better. Must have skills and attributes:

  • You're detail-oriented meaning you're a stickler for process and want to cross all your Ts and dot your Is.
  • You know digital media and have worked in an agency or client-side role and now want more autonomy and variety.
  • You won't be required to write copy, but your written and communication skills have to be outstanding.
  • You must master Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint). In fact, you have to be kind of have to be Excel Geek…
  • You also need to be proficient with the Google Suite of products, Dropbox as well as other cloud-based apps.
  • You have productivity shortcuts and go-to strategies that work for you day-in, day-out to get work out the door.
  • You know the steps to launch campaigns so well, you could almost execute them blindfolded.
  • You have a daily optimisation routine to test, tweak and re-align campaign parameters to make the metrics produce market-beating results that some have called you’re a technical magician.
  • You love to multitask without getting overwhelmed. In fact, you get bored without a full to-do list that is constantly being re-prioritised.
  • You live for deadlines and go-live dates, because that's where the fun is, to be ready to shine when the ‘lights come on’.
  • You have to be comfortable managing budgets across multiple client accounts with different publishers all at the same time while the team constantly optimises towards the best performance dynamically, in real-time
  • You'll help manage A/B testing of campaigns and creative elements, turning them on and off as required.
  • As part of the team, you'll be involved in setting up the tracking links for ongoing analysis that feeds into seamless daily, weekly and end-of-month reporting to ensure the optimisation feedback loop is efficient.
  • Your meticulous attention to detail is paramount when the end-of-month process requires the reconciliation of media publisher invoices for client invoicing and reporting.
  • You can coordinate projects across media and creative tasks knowing the magic is in bringing them both together to create one seamless campaign execution. 
  • You understand how to get the most out of organic social media cost-effectively and how to make it profitable. 

Additional (not necessary, but nice-to-have) skills and experience:

  • You’re one step ahead of the curve when it comes to data analysis, it’s as if the numbers speak to you in their own secret language. You know the stats without reading the reports, it’s like a cosmic dance you have with the digital universe, but it’s all grounded in hardcore real-time numbers that end up on the client’s bottom line or in the sales funnel.
  • You know that Artificial Intelligence is artificial because it still takes a human brain with its brilliance and creativity to interpret the in-between-the-lines messages you’re able to pick up as you become more knowledgeable about a client and its target audience(s).
  • You're seeking to master the digital media landscape which means learning to select the best media channels to suit each client’s objectives including all digital media strategies, planning, buying and activation for clients.
  • Some proficiency in Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Facebook would be useful, but not absolutely necessary.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret what the data from advertising campaigns is revealing to help inform decisions for future campaigns is either a skill you have or want to learn as you manage projects and campaigns.
  • You need to have some experience working with annual media budgets of at least $1 million with a steadfast focus on ROI.
  • You're at ease with data reporting and campaign management. We have a fully integrated system that manages projects (Workflow Max), invoices clients (Xero), and allows for live reporting of all jobs (Salesforce.com).
  • You've written copy and and can spot typos and grammatical errors like a ninja. Did you immediately see the typo in the previous sentence?

This inevitably reduces operational costs. Even though UEC is focused on media, sales and marketing, the systemisation of multiple customer journeys translates into organisational improvements that further create benefits with economies of scale. These improvements often provide the much-needed capacity to grow quickly without substantial additional and costly human resources.

The last act builds to a crescendo by embracing leading-edge technologies including: artificial intelligence, machine learning, heuristics, predictive modelling and data analytics to fully embrace the concept of deliberate practice principles that have created Olympic medallists and World Champions. This complex process involves creating a self-reinforcing feedback loop that automatically and systematically applies highly sophisticated mathematics and statistical techniques to optimise all the moving components, so we can manage, monitor and adjust each variable in harmony with the others to maximise profits at the minimum cost while sustaining the highest quality and brand integrity.
