They develop and promote independent, evidence-based policy and information on cancer prevention, detection, treatment, and care. They support their members, the eight state and territory Cancer Councils, to: undertake and fund cancer research; prevent and control cancer; and provide information and support for people affected by cancer.
The Role
As Head of Campaigns you will report to the Director of Cancer Control Campaigns and Communications and be responsible for leading the strategy and delivering a range of Campaigns focused on cancer prevention. You will work closely with key stakeholders to design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns aimed at educating and supporting the public in the prevention of a variety of cancers. Working in tandem with media buying, creative and other delivery agencies, you will build and lead paid media teams to deliver innovative and integrated work in partnership with the wider marketing team. Additionally, you will service and support major funding partners and protect and preserve the charity’s position and reputation as Australia’s leading charity through audience research, strategy design, implementation and monitoring. About you
We are looking for an influential and strategic integrated marketing specialist with a background in paid media. With exceptional communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a natural talent for influencing in either government or comparable complex and regulated environments. Having proven experience in the management and delivery of multi-million dollar campaigns you will have a strong track record in leading and driving high performance teams.
