SalaryWe are looking for Freight Handlers to work within a busy mail centre for Australia's main postal service in Molendinar. Please note these roles will be moving to Arundel to a new facility within a few weeks.
These roles are unloading delivery vans of freight and sorting parcels and packages on a conveyor system. Threre is manual handling involved up to 16kg items and the role involves standing and working with conveyor belts.
These roles are casual ongoing - 25 hours per week
What do you need?
- Previous freight handling, warehouse or process work experience advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail - will be looking at address labels and postcodes
- Must have current federal police check (within the last 6months) or be willing to obtain
- Be physically fit will be loading trailers, aircraft cages and roll cages with bags and packages up to 20kg
- Must be available Monday to Friday for the shifts described
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug testing in our Hamilton office
- Ability to work alone or with a team
- Excellent work ethic with a "can do" attitude and approach
