About the role: Due to our continued growth within our Bulk business group, our Regional Operations section in Stuart is looking to onboard a Freight Operator Level 1 to kick start their rail career! Commencing asap, this entry-level role will see you performing provisioning duties, fuelling and shunting (making up and breaking up trains).
Maintain and clean workplace and/or machinery/vehicles.
Conduct minor servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment.
Couple/uncouple and perform all hose, cable connections and other associated functions
Check/fill: engine oil; water; fuel on locomotives.
Wash and clean locomotives/cabs.
About you: This is an entry level position; no previous experience is required however a strong safety focus is essential.
Ability to work shift work- Day, Night and Afternoon shifts apply
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Excellent team player
Driver’s Licence
Willingness to learn and based within the local area
