As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the Darwin Freight operations (Domestic and International). This role will be the Leader in port (Darwin) and as such responsible for, all operational, customer relationship management against agreed service level agreement, including the day to day leadership, and effective management of the Freight Terminal to ensure, efficient and quality service is provided.
In addition, the Operations Manager will act as a key influencer in developing a workplace culture to generate consistency and greater accountability through the optimisation of resources, safety, customer service delivery, on time performance and financial controls contributing to the success of the Freight Terminal. This role will drive the implementation of key strategic and transformation projects by providing project and change management leadership within the Freight business and will focus on developing strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
