What does the job look like?
The primary responsibility of the Freight Processing Officer in our Finance Team is to ensure consistency and financial integrity for Intermodal financial data. Also maintain positive interactions with both internal and external customers to facilitate effective communication lines. This role will be based on site at Acacia Ridge, QLD and will be a Max term contract for 12 months. Key areas:

• Support in the preparation and data entry of weekly payroll, manifests, and run sheets
• Assist in tracking customer bookings to point of delivery and advise operations staff and / or customers if delays or problems are anticipated
• Arrange connote books to be delivered to customers when necessary
• Other administrative support as required by the management team
• Performing processing, invoicing and account reconciliations requirements for the Linfox Queensland Intermodal vendor base.
• Actively foster a co-operative relationship through regular personal contact, displaying a genuine interest in customer welfare and success

Are you the one?
This role is integral to the successful and efficient running of the Operations team in Mackay, encompassing a broad range of administrative and support service functions. You can demonstrate:

• Experience in an Operations Assistant/Administrator's role within the transport industry
• Strong general computer literacy with email, Word and Excel
• Successful completion of Tertiary education in finance - desired
• A team player who is proactive and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
