About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Front-end Developer to join our client Rio Tinto's Exploration Technical Knowledge team based in Belmont, on a Monday to Friday roster.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
User interface design and development of web-based applications using Python DASH, HTML, CSS and Javascript
User experience â workflows, performance, responsive design and other improvements within the web-based applications
Creating and checking on automated testing and other deployment tasks
As part of the data science team, collaborating and seeking input from geologists on new feature requests
Integration with various backend data sources and machine-learning models as the app expands
Skills and Experience Required:
Web software development 2+ years experience â HTML, CSS, JS
Proficiency in Python Programming
Demonstrated experience in software engineering practices â version control, tickets, SCRUM
UI and UX
Agile/SCRUM experience in a team setting
Data visualisation and exposure to scientific settings advantageous
Continuous learning and open mindset
