Front-End Developer (Vue/Tailwind/JS)

The Bright Labs team is growing, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced front-end developer to join our production team. 

If you're a front-end developer with strong attention to detail, the ability to think outside the box and an attitude toward continual learning, we would like to talk to you. 

Reporting to the Digital Production Manager and Senior Developer, the role requires you to contribute to the development of several projects. You will work closely with our Development and Creative teams to deliver projects to specification. The position offers you the ability to expand your experience in the digital agency landscape, and Bright Labs is committed to investing in staff training and your career development.

• 4+ years of commercial development experience working on websites (preferably in an agency environment);
• Good communication skills, spoken and written English;
• Strong experience in HTML, VueJS, JavaScript, and CSS Frameworks (e.g. Tailwind or similar);
• Ability to translate creative concepts and design templates into flexible, tidy, responsive code;
• Experience working with Content Management Systems;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Analytical skills.

• Relevant Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science;
• A solid understanding of website usability, accessibility and security;
• Experience with version control - ideally, Git;
• Developing sites that are SEO friendly and optimised for speed;
• Comfortable using SSH.

We work in a Hybrid 50/50 model with most of our team coming in two to three days a week into our city (CBD) office.
