Midnight Hotel is currently seeking Casual Front Office Associatesto join the team.
As a Front Office Associate, you will be responsible for delivering the best possible experience to our guests, from reservations to check-out. As a Front Office team member, the position involves assisting with general inquiries, requests, and billing actions developing/updating standard operational procedures (SOP).
Please note that these roles will be based across a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Successful applicant will be required to have availability to work a minimum 15hrs. per week during the morning shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Guest Requests by creating, amending, and cancellation reservations, answering guest queries and fulfilling requests (where authorised and appropriate)
- Providing information to callers regarding the Hotel and transferring calls and leaving messages for other team members.
- Being the first point of contact to in-house guests and assisting them with requests.
- Being the Marriott Bonvoy Connector by participating in Marriott Loyalty Webinars and Implementing and communicating any new loyalty program updates for Rooms.
- Develop ways to increase our Guest Voice scores for Elite Appreciation
- Be responsible for providing Service Excellence and maintaining Brand Standards
- Maintain and follow WHS policy and procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Dynamic, vibrant, confident, and professional personality
- You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.
- Experience within a Front Office, customer service-based role, preferably within a hospitality environment.
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Detail orientated
- High standard of personal presentation
- Previous experience using a Property Management System, preferably Opera.
- Ability to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines and varying guest situations.
