We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager for our Front Office team to uphold our commitment to excellence and ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable stay.
Job Description: As a Duty Manager - Front Office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will oversee the daily operations of the Front Office department, manage a team of enthusiastic professionals, and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes. Your leadership and attention to detail will contribute to the success and reputation of The Lyall South Yarra.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the Front Office team, including Front Desk Agents.
Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
Monitor and maintain the hotel's reservation and room inventory systems.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest services and resolve issues.
Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to assist guests.
Oversee billing and financial transactions accurately.
Assist with training and development of team members.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, guest satisfaction, and quality service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in hotel Front Office management or a similar role.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
