Front Office Hotel Receptionist
Do you enjoy creating memorable guest experiences and working as part of a dynamic team? Join our team as our next Front Office Hotel Receptionist at the Airport Hotel Sydney! We are looking for a responsible and engaging Full-time Receptionist to join our team.
The successful candidate will enjoy delivering exceptional guest service and have an eye for accuracy. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the Receptionist will be responsible for the following duties:
- Providing a high standard of customer service at all times;
- Attending to guests’ phone calls, emails and in-person questions;
- Check in & check out of guests, including taking payments;
- Coordinating housekeeping staff;
- Managing hotel inventory and rates;
- Offering and promoting products / services to guests; and
- Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties;
The ideal candidate will have:
- A warm, friendly and engaging personality;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A strong desire to deliver quality customer service;
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a dynamic team;
- Strong initiatives and problem-solving skills;
- Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts / days;
- Hotel experience;
- Experience with Guestpoint and / or Siteminder (advantageous but not essential); and
- Spanish language proficiency (advantageous but not essential).
