Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Front Office Supervisor to lead the Front Office team at Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development and training of Guest Service Agents;
- Ensure that all daily tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner;
- Conducting guest arrivals and departures;
- Confidently providing personalised, attentive guest service, including pre-empting the guest's requirements;
- Imparting your knowledge and recommendations about the hotel, its facilities and the local area including restaurants and attractions;
- Ensuring guest queries and complaints are handled efficiently and effectively;
- Maintaining accurate guest accounts, adhering to strict confidentiality policies and procedures;
- Finalizing guest accounts, including cash handling;
- Assisting in general administration duties in the Front Office department and general duties across the Housekeeping & Maintenance departments as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 1+ years experience at a supervisor level or Senior Guest Service Agent within a Hotel environment
- Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
- Understanding of Trust accounting
- A passion for delivering exceptional, pro-active customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
