The Opportunity
This exciting and dynamic guest focused role based out of our Sydney hotel (488 Kent Street), is responsible for delivering an outstanding guest experience overnight whilst providing the Fraser Difference - a commitment to continuously develop products and services that meet and exceed the unique needs of our corporate clients and guests.
- Permanent full-time position
- 38 hours per week
- City location, close to public transport
- Award Rates (Hospitality Industry General Award) + relevant entitlements including weekend/public holiday penalty rates, overtime + superannuation
Responsibilities
Working closely with the Night Manager, you will assist in ensuring the professional, efficient and effective operation of our Night Team, including:-
- Anticipate and exceed our Guests Expectations through an intuitive approach to customer service
- Maintain a close and proactive relationship with all key operating departments
- Process and assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all night audit functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner and in line with policies and procedures
- Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests
- Actively demonstrate a lead by example approach in managing and developing the team and aiding in achieving Hotel Goals
- To ensure consistency in upholding policies and procedures
- To maintain proactive and professional interaction with all Guests and Visitors
About you

- Previous Front Office Leadership experience in a high quality property
- Immaculate presentation
- Focused and passionate
- Well-developed organisational skills complimented with a high level of attention to detail
- Actively demonstrate a lead by example approach in managing and developing the team and aiding in achieving Hotel Goals
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to build rapport with team, guests and visitors alike
- Engaging, personable and friendly
- Sound availability across 7 days to work a rotating roster
- Good English communication skills
