Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills? We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the ICU team on a full-time basis.
As a Registered Nurse – Critical Care/ICU, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care

The operating theatres consist of 11 theatres and 1 endoscopy suite which provides full elective sessions 6 days per week, including 24hour on call coverage. The casemix includes cardiothoracic, orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Reconstructive plastic surgery, general surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat and vascular surgery.
About You
Authority to Work in Australia
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
At least 2 years’ experience as Registered Nurse in an acute ICU, HDU or CCU settings
Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards_ is desirable)
Clinical experience in an ICU environment
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
