Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to join a friendly and supportive team?
gastrotrACT is Canberra’s largest gastroenterology consulting practice, located in Garran on the grounds of The Canberra Hospital. We provide administrative and nursing support to the private practice of 8 consulting Gastroenterologists.
We are looking for a Clinic Nurse to work alongside the doctors, ensuring a smooth running of their practice.
You will be educating patients for their upcoming procedures and managing the doctors’ clinical practice. You will work closely with the Gastroenterologist as well as other members of the team. on occasion you may be required to assist with cover for other nursing staff.
We pride ourselves in supporting the doctors to provide the best possible care to their patients.
No previous gastroenterological experience required as we provide on the job training, and value ongoing education.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years post graduate experience as a Registered Nurse
- Outstanding organisation and time management skills
- Exceptional communication
- Patient centered focus
- Ability to maintain high level documentation
- Positive teamwork & collaboration
We are offering:
- Minimum 4 days a week – up to full time hours
- Above award remuneration
- 5 weeks annual leave
