ARO Tender Consulting are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Bid Writer to join the team to support our expanding business.

Working side by side with our clients, we have managed and delivered tenders ranging from small, single service proposals to billion-dollar PPPs. In the past year alone, our team has managed and assisted in tender submissions valued at over $10 billion.
Your role
The Bid Writer role offers unlimited variety, developing business and tender response content within industries including construction, facilities management, IT and soft services. Working closely with our clients, you will be tasked with developing high quality, compliant and compelling tender responses and business content.
You will need to be flexible in terms of work location as this may vary from working in multiple client offices to working remotely (from home) and some interstate travel may be required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the response document, writing compliant and compelling bid content - leveraging content from the subject matter experts to ensure consistency and readability across the proposal
- Management of the response document, creating templates, formatting content and ensuring the production of a high-quality content
- Provision of strategic advice to stakeholders in the interpretation of client requirements and preparation of tender responses
- Marketing collateral development
- May include management of the bid process ensuring the governance process is adhered to and facilitating the team through the process. Facilitation of internal bid team meetings, including bid team calls, workshops, reviews and approval meetings

What you will need for the job
- Minimum 5 years' tender writing experience within the infrastructure industry
- Strong knowledge of the infrastructure sector
- Highly effective communication (written & verbal) style teamed with strong interpersonal, skills across all levels of business
- Strong document review and editing skills
- Detail orientated with a strong work ethic
- The ability to work both autonomously or within a large team, work well under pressure, and with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong business acumen, analysis/ problem solving and collaboration skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (all applications preferable).
