JLL is a global leader in helping clients envision where people will live, work, play, shop, and eat.What this opportunity involves:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Manager to join our Work Dynamics division– where we offer integrated services enabling organisations to shape their workplaces to create a better world of work for their people.The Bid Manger/Writer role will support the delivery of all key milestones and outputs associated with bid preparation to achieve finalisation and approval of finished capability statements, expressions of interest (EOI), proposals and tenders, including post-lodgement questions, presentations, and clarifications.You will drive business growth, building robust systems, processes, and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across all pursuits and bids, improve overall bid win rate and improve feedback from win/loss debriefs.What this role involves:General:Support the nominated Bid Lead in the preparation and writing of proposals, EOIs, tenders and presentationsReview and edit documents to ensure accuracy, logic, appropriate level of detail, correct grammar, consistency with style guidelines and high quality outputWhere required, assume accountability for the end-to-end development of the bid through the planning, strategy, solution, writing and approval stagesDraft written responses to bid questions from baseline, based on prior planning and strategy sessionsInterpret questions to fully understand client requirements and develop written responses that address the question clearly and succinctly and capture the JLL approach or offering and the benefits to the client in a compelling way, supported by evidence.Strong collaboration and engagement with Business Development Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Bid Sponsors and Head of Solutions & Proposals, to ensure the JLL solution is identified early in the bid process and is articulated in a clear and compelling mannerUndertake research and analysis in relation to the client and the proposal and use this analysis to customise input from other sources or write components that reflect our understanding of the client and their requirementsConsult with key business managers on bid development and the service delivery model, including identifying client-specific workflows and the appropriate customisation of our standard approachAttend and, as required, discuss technical aspects of response requirements at proposal approval meetingsSubmit final drafts for review of quality, responsiveness, accuracy, evidence of experience and detailed methodologyManage the final ‘page turn’ review and arrange lodgement as per client instructions (electronic or hardcopy) to ensure that the complete submission and attachments are lodged before the closing timeEnsure that accurate records are kept and regular reports are givenProvide support to Sales function through the preparation and maintenance of operational case studies, client data sheets and client testimonial librariesThe successful candidate will have the following:Exceptional ability to research, write and organise ideas, coupled with excellent attention to detail and quality.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesSolutions focused with a demonstrated capacity for strategic and analytical thinkingStrong collaboration and facilitation skillsProven work experience in a facilities or property related service discipline preferred or solid experience in bid submissionsSound decision making capabilities, demonstrating an ability to create persuasive and compelling responsesAbility to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation with excellent presentation skills and the ability to prepare high standard documentsDemonstrated ability to think strategically with a high level of conceptual, innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills directed towards positive outcomes in the development and implementation of BD/CRM projectsExcellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities and meet deadlinesHands on experience with bid submissions with a preference for experience in bid managementWhat you can expect from us:
