Graduate Bid-Writer

Mermaid Property Services is one of Victoria's market leaders in cleaning and maintenance services. We are passionate about providing our clients with professional and comprehensive services ensuring that their facilities are always immaculate and maintained at a high level.

Due to continued growth within the business, we are looking for a GraduateBid-Writer to join the Mermaid team to assist in composing compelling proposals and bids that captivate and inspire prospective clients, ultimately contributing to the acquisition of new business opportunities. This position enjoys a flexible working environment and full training will be offered on the job.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for-

• Preparing tenders and bids; including identifying response requirements, coordinating input from stakeholders, and assisting with compiling and completing non-technical sections of proposals.
• Tailoring information to create persuasive content to address specific bid opportunity requirements to ensure the bids are fully compliant with the client's requirements.
• Leading the bid process, managing stakeholder expectations and constantly looking for areas of improvement.
• Developing supporting visuals/graphics and promotional collateral and maintaining general marketing material.
• Coordinating and tracking tender opportunities to distribute to the leadership team.
• Assisting with marketing material and online media, such as LinkedIn content and website updates.
• Assisting in the continuous improvement of templates and collateral to maintain a high quality bid library.

• Experience writing and editing content ensuring a professional tone and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Design experience will be considered a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail, creativity and use of own initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
