We are currently seeking a talented Chef with experience working as a Catering Manager to lead our team at our client’s busy School Campus overseeing the service delivery across the Boarding House, Tuckshop service & Function operation at this prestigious private school. This is a Full-Time position of 38 hours a week boasting exceptional Monday to Friday hours. Work, life, Balance guaranteed!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the business and the many services we provide to our client
• Menu planning for both retail service times and function catering
• Hands on in the kitchen leading the team
• Food safety compliance
• Ordering and receival of goods
• Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and service area
• Management of the Food Safety Plan and adherence to food hygiene and OH&S procedures
• Lead the Team in all areas of food presentation and production
• Maintaining a strong relationship with the staff, clients and School Community on site

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A passion for great food and customer service
• A people person who thrives on positive interaction with staff, clients and a can do approach
• Experience working under pressure in a similar role in a corporate/client workplace
• Experience with systems such as ordering software, payroll etc
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and develop staff to exceed
• Leader in OH&S and Food Hygiene requirements
• Great personal grooming, presentation and a confident and pleasant manner
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Proven experience within kitchen production
