Full Time Catering Manager | Hobart Area Monday-Friday outstanding daytime hours – Work, Life, Balance! We are currently seeking a talented Chef with experience working as a Catering Manager to lead our team at our client’s busy School Campus overseeing the service delivery across the Boarding House, Tuckshop service & Function operation at this prestigious private school. This is a Full-Time position of 38 hours a week boasting exceptional Monday to Friday hours. Work, life, Balance guaranteed! Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the business and the many services we provide to our client Menu planning for both retail service times and function catering Hands on in the kitchen leading the team Food safety compliance Ordering and receival of goods Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and service area Management of the Food Safety Plan and adherence to food hygiene and OH&S procedures Lead the Team in all areas of food presentation and production Maintaining a strong relationship with the staff, clients and School Community on site To succeed in this role, you will need: A passion for great food and customer service A people person who thrives on positive interaction with staff, clients and a can do approach Experience working under pressure in a similar role in a corporate/client workplace Experience with systems such as ordering software, payroll etc Demonstrated ability to lead a team and develop staff to exceed Leader in OH&S and Food Hygiene requirements Great personal grooming, presentation and a confident and pleasant manner Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Proven experience within kitchen production You will share TWG’s vision for providing food which is nutritious and of a high calibre, making each dish fresh on site each and every day.
