About Us
Opening in March 2020, Harry's is the complimentary cafe/casual diner to our restaurant Frank & Connie's Kitchen. Named for our much loved chicken Harry, Harry's Hepburn has garnered a strong local community and tourist following as a breakfast & brunch destination. We are a fresh venue with a homely, nostalgic feel featuring a large indoor dining area and two outdoor dining areas. Our menu is punchy and local produce driven with an emphasis on ‘house made’; we even bake all our own sourdough. Run by an experienced hospitality couple, we put a lot of love into our venue and aim for our staff and guests to feel the same.
The Role
- Running a section
- Cooking to order
- Running service in the absence of Exec Chef/Head Chef with our established team
- Management of junior kitchen staff
- Larder preparation
- Baking
- Stock ordering and stock control
- Cleaning and management of kitchen cleanliness
- Kitchen hand duties where necessary
About You
- Available to work weekends and holiday periods
- Min 2 years experience in a similar role
- A positive and upbeat attitude
- Punctuality
- Neat presentation and working style
- Able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work to a fast paced environment
- Pride in your work
- Effective communication skills with staff and customers
