Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Full-Time Chef to join our team at Buckley Sorrento. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to our customers. From crafting daily specials to maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, you will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for excellence in dining.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Develop creative and seasonal menu offerings in collaboration with management
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as needed to ensure freshness
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold quality and efficiency in food preparation
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting, as well as independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
