We are a Mackay based Electrical Contractor providing premium electrical services throughout the Commercial, Industrial and Mining sectors. As a reliable electrical contractor, we undertake projects of all sizes, including onsite plant maintenance and large scale industrial projects and mine site work.

Job tasks and responsibilities:
Suitable candidates will be able to obtain and further gain experience in Industrial and Commercial Electrical installation in the following areas which will include Breakdowns, Scheduled Maintenance, After Hour Call-out and Service:
- Generators, Processing Plant, Crushing Plants, Welders, Portable Industrial Machinery, Workshop Machine Tools, Control Systems, Distribution Networks and Coal Lab Equipment.
- Compliancing for: BMA, Peabody, Glencore and Anglo.
- Daily duties: Timekeeping and Management, Job Scheduling, Parts and Drawing Interpretation, Email and Reporting.

Skills and experience:
- The ability to obtain a QLD Electrical Mechanic qualification.
- Will be required to obtain a restricted licence within 90 days of commencement of employment.
- This will involve being able to gain the ability to to design, assemble, test, commission, maintain and repair electrical networks, systems, circuits, equipment, components, appliances and facilities.
- Ability to gain knowledge to service and repair lifts, escalators and related equipment.
- Ability to gain the knowledge to read wiring diagrams, scoping up the task requirements through the ability to use electronic test equipment and faulty finding.
- The ability to obtain a Current LVR/ CPR Certification
- Good communication skills - you will be required to liaise directly with customers.
- Computer literate - email and MS Office
- The ability to obtain a Open Class C driver's licence for manual vehicles
- The ability to obtain a Cabling Data Licence (favourable but not a requirement)
