TheService Engineer/Electronic Instrument Trades worker role includes but is notlimited to, delivering the services designated by the company, assisting with Engineered products, build a sustainableservice sales funnel and identify pull through projects.
DeliveringServices to customers by attending breakdowns onsite or through routinemaintenance is an essential part of this role. This role includes an element ofdeveloping business and an increase in company brand awareness.

DUTIES
• Identify, assist with quotations, close anddeliver Service work to customers in a timely manner.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork (i.e.work reports).
• Examining and testing machines, equipment,instruments and control systems to
• diagnose breakdowns and provide routinemaintenance.
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn anddefective parts and providing expertise on issues that arise in relation to company’sSolutions.
• Performcalibration of instruments and equipment according to specifications.
• Conducttesting procedures to ensure equipment complies with industry standards.
• Attendproject working relationship with customers to secure additional business.
• Receiveand interpret coded messages, convert them to plain language for transmission.
• Monitorradio traffic, transmitting and receiving voice messages.
• Advising users of correct operating proceduresto prevent malfunctions.
• Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic,mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles in commissioning andmaintaining control systems.
• Maintain engagement though company’s projectexecution to guarantee successful commissioning and ensure the customer isfully engaged with company to continue services beyond project handover.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industryregulations.
• Adapting to different customers work processesandprocedures.
REQUIREDSKILLS
Thefollowing areas of competencies are required to carry out the work:
• Engineering degree in Mechanical,Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical, or Certificate IV in Electronics andCommunications or equivalent or 5 plus years of relevant industry experience
• Experienced with Vapour Recovery knowledge andservices skills
• Experienced with Hydrocarbons Storage andDistribution Facilities, operations and risks.
• Be trained and competent in the design,application, installation and inspection of Electrical
· Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
• A basic understanding of PLC and Booleanlogic.
· Demonstrated capacity and application tosuccessfully deliver Services having a multidisciplinary nature includingmanufacturing mechanical, electrical and electronic components.
• Relevant Experience and Certification inHazardous Area installation and maintenance.
• Positive attitude, with demonstrated teambuilding skills.
• An ability to prioritize and plan in apressured environment.
• Astute, commercially focused, results orientedwith a "hands on" approach.
