Position

Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a full-time Sales Assistant. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers with their furniture selections, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while developing valuable sales and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

* Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Provide product information, features, and benefits to customers
* Assist customers in selecting furniture pieces that meet their needs and preferences
* Maintain a clean and organized showroom environment
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and objectives
* Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales events, and product offerings
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner
* Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed

Qualifications

* Previous retail sales experience (preferred), hospitality applicants welcome.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Enthusiasm for furniture/homeware and interior design
* Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
* Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
* Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
