We now have an exciting opportunity available for someone to join our team as a multi-skilled Floor Layer.

Floor Worx has been leading the flooring sector in the region for the last 9 years, with the previous 30 years based in Brisbane. 

We pride ourselves in keeping an exciting, family environment while providing a professional service to our customers. 

We work hard so as we can play harder, having weekend camping trips or social events.

We service not only our City – Yes, Mount Isa is a city in the Outback, but also rural communities, mines and cattle stations spanning into the Northern Territory. We have various services to keep our installers busy – Carpet, vinyl, epoxy & outdoor coverings, making sure we never get bored of the same thing.

More specific to your role:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the trade
• Competent vinyl & carpet laying skills
• Travel throughout Outback Australia to complete installs
• Coordinate and carry out all duties required in flooring technology, greeting clients & following company policies & procedures
• A 6-month probation period

Our ideal candidate:

• Multi skilled - Carpet, Commercial vinyl, Vinyl planks
• Have trade certificates
• High level of attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable
• Reliable and hardworking
• Be a confident communicator
• Current Open Manual Driver license
• A keen interest in personal presentation
• Must random pass drug & alcohol tests
