With the opening of this stunning Italian style restaurant and cafe, we have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Cafe Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations. As the Cafe Head Chef, you will report to the Restaurant Head Chef and Venue Manager to deliver an exceptional dining experience.This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and career-focused leader. Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations
- Creating and serving incredible breakfast dishes
- Ordering and stock inventory
- Leading and developing a kitchen team
- Leading by example
- Assisting in Menu creation and development
- Keeping up to date with trend and technique
- Safety and hygiene
- Assisting in rostering and financial reporting
- Training and coaching
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in managing high-quality venues
- Proven leadership skills with a strategic approach to team development
- Passion for delivering exceptional food
- At least 2 years experience in Hatted Venue or fine dining
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience managing teams
