About the role
Reporting to the Quality Manager and working in a dynamic team, this role is primarily responsible for the provision of practical and hands on product and process quality assurance, control and improvement activities for the WA Mining Region. This role also supports the Quality Manager to promote a continuous improvement culture.
Duties
- Inspection of incoming product
- Product audits at various stages of build program
- Work with all stakeholders to expedite a resolution of identified issues
- Compliance audits and local supplier oversight
- Identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop, implement and coach stakeholders on the Quality Management System & Quality Assurance practices with use of QA tools and systems
- Assist in writing technical documents for various departments that form part of the Quality management system
- Assist with root cause analysis investigations
About you
You will be great in this role if you are motivated to provide excellent customer service, are conscientious, competent and detail focused, with a friendly disposition.
- Quality related discipline and or/Quality background
- Preferably poses a mechanical background
- Advanced MS Office computer literacy and proficiency;
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated attention to detail with proficient oral and written communication skills.
- ISO 9001 knowledge
