At The Sporting Globe, you'll find a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, reminiscent of a sports stadium. The venue is designed with large screens and TVs strategically placed throughout the space, ensuring patrons can catch every thrilling moment of their favourite sports events while sitting comfortably with their private booths and tv. You can expect to find it broadcast here from all over the world, whether it's football, cricket, rugby, basketball, UFC or any other sport

You will be responsible for the following;
- Assisting in efficiently and effectively controlling all operations across the venue, including running the restaurant and bar.
- Supporting the Venue and Assistant Venue managers by opening and closing the venue.
Co-ordinating a range of functions such as corporate conferences, birthday parties, team awards nights etc
Efficiently and effectively managing event operations with run sheets, room layouts
Working closely with the event and venue managers
Liaising with all staff to successful execute events to the clients’ needs
Assisting in the successful execution of events such as sportsman & trivia nights as well as major activations and local area marketing
Driving our internal loyalty program
Building strong relationships with repeat business by creating memorable events
Providing and receiving feedback
- Organisation and coordination of all staff members within the restaurant
- Maintaining current market knowledge and harnessing your ability to engage and execute promotional/marketing concepts to assist in business growth.
- Critical to this role is the ability to take a strategic approach in driving revenue,
- Manage our food and beverage, customer service and achieve the financial targets.
What is required?
- A minimum of 2yrs Hospitality Management
- Function or event experience
- Experience working in both Bar and Restaurant environments
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the industry and a strong sales culture
- Experience in the financial aspects of a business
- RSA certificate,
- Management card
