The Opportunity

As a Fund Analystat Dexus you will be responsible for assisting with implementation of the Investment Strategy, developing an understanding of Fund Models, the dynamics of Fund returns and primary influences on those returns. In addition, the Fund Analyst will be a key contributor to regular and ad-hoc fund and investor reporting. Developing an understanding of the Fund portfolios and key drivers, risks and opportunities, your ability to build strong and respected relationships will enable you to assist and support the Fund Manager in delivering results.

You will make an impact by:

• Providing analytical support to Fund Manager and Assistant Fund Manager
• Administering and updating the Fund Models; calculating asset and Fund level returns
• Building and maintaining databases used for fund analytical requirements.
• Analysing the strategic and financial impact of acquisitions, disposals, developments and major lease transactions and capital management initiatives.
• Researching and analysing key property market trends and opportunities to assist in capital recycling, repositioning or new acquisitions.
• Assisting in the preparation of papers or presentations to be presented to the Board and Investment Committee

About You

• Ability to use basic programming e.g. SQL, VBA to efficiently automate processes and prepare datasets for analysis including Excel pivot tables, Power BI etc
• Demonstrate strong financial analysis / reporting experience gained within advisory, transaction support or funds management roles
• Comfortable with DCF and other valuation methodologies, investment return calculations and portfolio/fund modelling
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
• Technology savvy with keen interest in leveraging innovative tools and platforms to streamline process and enhance productivity
• Strong collaboration skills
• Positive attitude and team spirit with demonstrated ability to get on with a range of people with diverse personalities.
