The opportunity
Our growing Tax team are seeking an early career tax specialist with a background in tax and accounting to join them in the role of Fund Tax Analyst. You'll gain exposure to all areas of our business as you support the Taxation Manager with tax compliance for the entire fund, including indirect taxes. Also, you'll gain the opportunity to develop your expertise in all superannuation-related taxation matters.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting, Finance or Tax and have had one to two years post grad experience at either an accounting firm or a company related to financial services, with exposure to Australian taxation matters (PAYG, tax returns, FBT, GST etc…). You will have a high level of initiative and strong research/investigative skills and curious and inquisitive mindset. You will have either completed your CA/CPA qualification or be on the way to doing so. Superannuation and/or Fund administration experience is a plus. Collaborative in approach, your passion for tax is ably supported by outstanding communication skills and an ability to provide accurate, professional and credible advice to a wide variety of stakeholders.
